Summer Session 2013 Payment Plan Outline

  • Tuition Due Date | May 10, 2013
    For students without approved deferment such as a financial aid application or agency funding— a payment plan must be in place through Nelnet/FACTS e-cashier in order to avoid the risk of getting dropped from your courses.
  • Payment Plan Due Dates
    • May 2, 2013 | no down payment required
    • May 10, 2013 | 15% or $300
    • May 21, 2013 | 33% of remaining balance due
    • June 20, 2013 | 50% of remaining balance due
    • View flyer for sign up periods and required down payments.
  • A $50 late fee will be charged to all accounts not paid in full by July 10, 2013.
  • You will NOT be able to register online for the next semester until the balance is paid in full or have a current payment plan.

Spring Semester 2014 Payment Plan Outline

  • Tuition Due Date | December 20, 2013
    For students without approved deferment such as a financial aid application or agency funding— a payment plan must be in place through Nelnet/FACTS e-cashier in order to avoid the risk of getting dropped from your courses.
  • Payment Plan Due Dates
    • December 3, 2013 | no down payment required
    • December 20, 2013 | 15% or $300
    • February 19, 2014 | 33% of remaining balance due
    • March 24, 2014 | 50% of remaining balance due

  • A $50 late fee will be charged to all accounts not paid in full by March 24, 2014.
  • You will NOT be able to register online for the next semester until the balance is paid in full or have a current payment plan.

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

  • Your valid FAFSA results must be on record with the Office of Scholarships & Financial Aid by a certain date.
  • To avoid assessment of a $30 payment plan fee, you must complete your financial aid record and apply for any student loans needed to pay your balance by the following dates:

    Summer Session 2013
    May 31, 2013

    Fall Semester 2013
    September 20, 2013
     

Approved Third-Party Vendor Authorization

  • Approved third-party vendor authorization must be on file with the Office of Scholarships & Financial Aid by a certain date. The college will bill the approving agency for authorized tuition and fees.
  • To avoid assessment of a $30 payment plan fee, you must pay in full any balance not covered by the authorization by the following dates:

    Spring Semester 2012
    February 29, 2012

    Summer Session 2012
    May 31, 2012

Scholarship Funds

  • Regarding scholarship funds of $300 or more paid to the student's DCTC account, you can avoid assessment of a $30 payment plan fee by paying any balance not covered by the scholarship by the following dates:

    Spring Semester 2012
    February 29, 2012

    Summer Session 2012
    May 31, 2012

Veteran's Benefits

International Students

  • International students coded with an F1 Visa must pay 100 percent of health insurance costs at the time of registration OR by the following dates:

    December 20, 2013

  • International students must have a social security number on record with DCTC to be eligible for the payment plan deferment option.
  • To avoid assessment of a $30 payment plan fee, you must pay any remaining balance by the following dates:

    Summer Session 2012
    May 31, 2012

Post-Secondary Education Options (PSEO)

  • PSEO students must have completed PSEO documentation and have approved PSEO status on record with DCTC.
