Course Description

This course takes a practical approach to administering Windows Server 2008 infrastructures. The Windows Server 2008 Administrator course maps to the Microsoft MCITP 70-646 certification exam. Learners will master such skills as managing server operating systems, file, and directory services, software distribution and updates, profiling and monitoring assigned servers, and troubleshooting. Extensive hands-on and lab exercises create a learning experience that prepares IT professionals to manage and administer Windows Server 2008 environments.  The skills mastered are then able to be applied with successful completion of Microsoft’s 70-646 certification exam.
