National Electric Code
National Electric Code (NEC) Courses
These 8-hour courses are designed for licensed electricians to fulfill their 16 hours of required training every two years. Courses are approved by the Minnesota Board of Electricity under Course Approval Registration S1640870. This training will help electricians understand and comply with the National Electric Code.

Fundamental of Electrical Work I
This course is a requirement for electrical installations. Topics include, use and identification of grounded conductors, branch circuits and feeders and wiring methods. Upon successful completion of this course, you will earn a certificate of completion.
Fundamental of Electrical Work II
Course topics include, cable and conduit wiring methods, switches, appliances, motor circuits and controllers, and transformers and transformer vaults. Upon successful completion of this course, you will earn a certificate of completion.
Soares Grounding & Bonding
Course topics include, fundamental of electrical circuits, grounding electrical systems and services, bonding equipment and enclosures and group fault protection. Upon successful completion of this course, you will earn a certificate of completion.
Instructor
- Mike Buck
He has held the Minnesota Class A Master Electrician license for more than 30 years. His expertise centers on the National Electrical Code as well as on designing, installing and maintaining electrical systems.
